How We Started
As a team for over 13 years,
Kasie and Dylan have your back.
Kasie and Dylan met each other through mutual friends in 2013 in Indianapolis on Dylan’s birthday. They became inseparable ever since. They spent their 20s moving from the Midwest to the Southwest. They hit their 30s and decided to settle in Richmond. They are now proud to call this beautiful city their home.
Kasie began working events over 10 years ago, starting her career in Phoenix. She has worked events in California, Arizona, Indiana, Virginia, Florida, Minnesota and D.C.
Dylan has been by her side since day one. He’s cheered her on and worked alongside her. They knew they had something special happening. By pouring their love and encouragement for each other into so many couples' special days, it was time to make this the real deal.
Dylan encouraged Kasie to make a big move. She took a huge leap and together they created their own boutique event company with a hope and a dream - and each other

This is less of a bio about Ellie and more of an ode of appreciation.
Ellie found Kasie when she realized she had a passion for events and wanted to give it a shot.
After their first meeting, Kasie felt an instant connection with Ellie and saw herself as she was when she was younger. Ellie is an amazingly bright being with the best heart and an unstoppable drive for success. She is always reading Kasie’s mind and keeps her grounded.
Ellie has made How Lucky Co. move through each event with ease by her care for every detail, her love for each couple, and her kindness in everything she does. She has truly made a huge impact on who we are and how we operate.
